Halloween With Homer
Halloween is one of our favorite holidays here at Beau Monde, so when it comes around the pumpkin carving game get's pretty serious. This year I free-handed a Homer Simpson jack-o-lantern to commemorate the release of the Kidrobot x The Simpsons Mini Series II. Can't wait to get all these figures! Beau Monde Presents...Fareed Gramz: Gram Champion
Meet the homie Fareed Gramz, Producer/Song Writer/Engineer from Chicago. In the past he's had music released as an artist appearing on Nickelodeon's "All That", Chicken Soup For the Children's Soul and Universal Movie Soundtrack for Mystery Men. He's currently working on catalogs for Music Licensing companies who's clients include MTV, CBS and Fox Sports. He started a music production company (Ceven Cees) and Studio in 2000 with his business partners with goals of having his artists get signed to a major label. With some of his new business partnerships and the evoloution of the internet, they've decided to operate as a label and are releasing their artist's material independently. Gram Champion is the first release because he has so many tracks just collecting dust. He felt it was time to reintroduce himself to the world again, now with more focus and business sense. Reebok: Alien Stompers
We just recieved the Reebok "Alien Stomper" (a personal favorite here at the shop). Now besides the fact that this shoe rarely see's a US release, these particular Alien Stompers are special due to the fact that they are the same colorway that Lt. Ripley aka Sigourney Weaver wore during the film Aliens. G4TV has a program called "Attack Of The Show" with a feature they occasionally run in it entitled "Sneakerheads". They did a short feature on the Stompers, click to 1:45 if you just can't wait to see them in all their alien crushing glory. By the way G4TV... Where's the Chicago shout out? Ok I'm done.
